Dreaming of a white Christmas

When I first saw this image of Dreaming Pixie I wanted to use it for a Christmas card so went with the soft teal and icy blue shades.   This is just the most beautiful image, don't you think, and so versatile too.

A close up of the snowflake embellies, punched and die cut and coated with Twinklets and Glamour Dust.

I used one of the Spellbinders borders for the centre strip.

Holly Pixie

Here's another card from me using the gorgeous Pixie Chicks.  Little Holly Pixie is definitely my favourite, check out the frills on her dress lol.

I've added some Flowersoft to her dress and the tops of her boots and stickles to the holly for a bit of bling. I dug out this old Anna Griffin paper - who would have thought that AG and Pixie Chicks would work together! Shows what you can get away with when making Christmas cards. Apologies for the pants picture – I am struggling with the dark days we have had this past week, rain rain and more rain :(

Enchanting Pixie

This is another of my favourite pixies and I really enjoyed working with her again.

I used Fancy Pants Daily Grind papers (from the pad) and Daily Grind chipboard. My circle is made up with Imaginisce Blossoming Romance Rub-ons . The decorative edging was made with a Martha Stewart punch. White flowers are K&Co. As always everything is available from Charmed Cards & Crafts

Have a lovely day :-)

Rosebud Pixie

Here's another Pixie card from me, I've used Rosebud Pixie.

A close up of Rosebud – those eye lashes are to die for!! I glittered her wings with some Glamour Dust (love the stuff). The image is coloured with Copics, I so need more practice lol.

I started off the card by following the SYFTT sketch then went a bit awry with the sizing but think I pulled it back again by using much narrower pieces across the top of the card than what is shown on the sketch.

Little Dreamer

I've got a couple of birthdays coming up so grabbed the chance to use this beauty again. We are entering the dark days phase again and I couldn't get the light. Bev you must tell me how you always get your lighting so perfect!!!

I added a copious amount of crystal glamour dust and some glossy accent as can be seen in this picture with the flash on:

Chipboard button is Maya Road, Pearls are self-adhesive Habico pearls. The sentiment is by Charmed Cards & Crafts. The bow is paper cord and finally the charm is a Marion and Me Girl charm.

I used Fancy Pants paper from the 8x8 "The Daily Grind Grind" pad and cut it down and pieced it in to fit my 6x6 card. The two pink strips are Basic Grey paper edged with a Martha Stewart punch. I took a little piece of a large Prima swirl apart and used it to embellish the two strips.

Sorry for the large amount of pictures, I always drown you in them.

We are going to be having some challenges soon so watch out for those.

Enchanting Pixie

Here's the first of my cards using the new Pixie Chicks stamps. I was so excited when I heard they were turning some of their Pixie digi images into stamps because up till recently I have not had Copics so could not use the digi images. I have coloured Enchanting Pixie with distress inks and H2O's
I have used papers from the Basic Grey Wisteria pad - these colours are so perfect for the image I think.

Thanks for stopping by

Thank You

Hello all you delectable Delectable Stamp customers, Louise here,

You haven't seen much of me lately but I've popped on today with a cute little card I've just made. I don't make enough thank you cards, but recently I've had lots and lots of people to thank so here is my first thank you card....

It looks difficult but you know, with a good set of cutting compasses theses cards are actually quite quick and easy to make. I think this Annie stamp lends itself perfectly to this kind of card, it gives a real sence of depth.
The Papers (My Mind's Eye) and the Delectable Stamps are all available from the best craft shop on the WWW Charmed Cards and Crafts....check them out!

Irresistible Annie

I made a just for fun card yesterday for a change and little Irresistible Annie was the stamp I reached for, love the expression on her face. I teamed her with some very old K & Co papers and the obligatory lace, pearls and flowers lol

Double Take!

Hi Folks, Louise here,

If you're reading this whilst the sun is still shining....why!!! Get out in the sunshine and come back later! You never know how long it will last! Especially here in Hull :0( Those who say it's never dull in Hull are lying!)

I'm starting to get back into the swing of things after my Pixie marathon so I decided an Annie card was long over due.

Here's what I came up with.....

Here's another shot (I couldn't decide!)

Everything you see on this card from the Annie stamps to the K&Company papers and embellishments are available to purchase from Charmed Cards and Crafts.

Dreamer

You certainly get variety in our new Pixie collection, and here is my absolute favourite: Dreamer. She is different to the other pixies but my goodness she is so beautiful.

I think Dreamer is perfect for a vintage look, but you could experiment and see what she looks like in brighter colours. It is amazing how different the images look according to how you colour them.

The sentiment is part of the collection and created especially for this image.

Have a wonderful Sunday. Weather is glorious here in London, could do with a seaside just around the corner today :-) Hope you are enjoying the same weather wherever you are.

Double Pixie Treat

We have ditched the "Fairy" tag and replaced it with Pixie, well not completely ditched it but "intermingled". Can I just say again that they will be ready when they are ready and no amount of screaming and shouting will get them to you any quicker (ha ha), it will be at least another week before the digi-stamps are ready, perhaps even longer; but you can start planning your projects now.

Today I created a showcase comprising TWO of our enchanting pixies: Thistle and Daisy. I kept chopping off Thistle's top petals so there's a variety of pictures:

Here is the lovely Thistle:

... and this is Daisy

I designed a little toadstool for Lou's Daisy to sit on

Sorry if I post too many pictures, I take dozens and never happy with them LOL
Thanks for visiting, stay patient, and have a lovely Saturday.

Watch out!

There's a Fairy teen about the place!! I wonder if they are quite as stroppy as the un-winged kind!? Meet Rosebud Fairy. This little lady has dyed her delicate pink rose petals black, much to her parents disdain.

Rosebud is part of our new Pocket Faires collections, soon to be released:

My daughter didn't care much for the sentiment I chose, it didn't make sense to her (well she's only 12 and the hormones have only just started kicking in), so this morningI had to quickly make something else.

I apologise for the occasional glimpse of a foam pad, it looked alright in real life LOL

There will be more previews coming soon so watch out for those.

Thanks for visiting ♥
