Yummy!

Helloooo, Louise here,

I've been having another play with Annie, I wanted to experiment with sitting her on different things so I've coupled my experimentation with the Truly Scrumptious challenge (more about that on my blog)

I had a look through my Silhouette templates to see what would work and came across this big book plate template, I think it works really well with Annie sitting on it, I'll definitely be using it again. While I was cutting the book plate I popped the swirls through the Silhouette too, I do like my swirls.
I've been dying to use one of my K&Co Cut N Paste Dessert Grand Adhesions, they're truly scrumptious aren't they....
So, not long now to wait until you can get your mitts on the Annie stamps, I have to say, I'm very impressed with your patience!

Not long now....

Our new stamp range is expected any day now so I thought I would show another example card; this one uses the "Annie sitting Pretty" stamp. But... the image used here is much smaller than our stamps. Because I was working with the digital image as the stamps aren't with us yet, I miscalculated and it's much smaller. I used the height of one of the other stamps instead. Oops, LOL I thought it looked small when I was putting the card together.

I put the spots on the dress by dotting with a colour slightly darker than the darkest shade used on the dress then adding another white dot on top with a white Inkssential pen. This gives depth to the dots.

Products used here are Basic Grey Urban Praire papers and rub-ons. Circles were cut by Nestabilites and the borders/edges were cut using a Fiskars Threading Water punch.

We are looking into sending the stamps abroad but this may be slightly delayed. Reason is simply that the postal system is set to accept UK orders only, all orders are processed on site and picked up by Royal Mail (i.e. we don't manually take orders to the Post Office) so it needs looking into (i.e. custom clearance forms and so on). Boring stuff but crucial if we are sending abroad. So please bear with me whilst I sort that out.

Annie & Ted...

Our stamps should be with us next week and I can't wait to stroke and admire in the flesh. Thank you to all who pre-ordered the stamps, they will be shipped immediately I can get them packaged up.

Louise showed you a card using Annie and Ted in the last post, but as you gathered the stamp size was slightly misleading (LOL). I used the same image here on my card, with the image to size. The card size is approx 6" x 6" so you can see that this particular stamp is quite large.

Products used on my card are mostly from the new K&Co Que Sera Sera range. The hearts are cut from the brown paper with a heart punch. Flower is Prima, metal key K&Co Life's Journey; plain pearls are K&Co Blue Awning. The ribbon is We r Memory Keepers and distress ink was used to ink edges. All available at Charmed Cards & Crafts. Annie & ted were coloured in using Copic markers.

Once you have the stamps we will run challenges, I hope you will join us :-)

Such a Cutie!

OK so when I say she's a cutie it's kind of like a parent saying their child is beautiful, sort of bias I suppose but she just is! Isn't she!

I made this card for a challenge but I wanted to show you it on here as well as on my own blog.

Before I carry on I must tell you, because the stamps are still in production I'm using printed images for my cards. The image you see on my card is printed smaller than it will be as a stamp. I didn't think about it until it was too late, boy did I swear! Karen will verify that! LOL.

Here's another picture of the same card to give you a glimpse of the inside. The tags, ephemera and paper are all from the K&Co Cut & Paste Collection
I was amazed at how many die cut shapes you get in the ephemera pack, it's packed full! Such good value for money I have to say.

So, here are the close ups....

At the risk of being repetitive, I'm going to tell you that the full Annie stamp set is available to pre-order now(you get a free accessory if you do!) Just click here for more information and to see the full range.

Thanks for looking

Angel Annie...

About time we introduced you to another of our new stamps featuring the sweet Annie. Can't get much more sweet than an angel and here she is clutching her beloved little rag doll. Sugar and spice right?

I made the "Sugar and Spice" sentiment myself and will be giving this away as a freebie at some stage.

I hope to have the pre-orders ready tomorrow and will post a little note here when the system is ready. We have six main images and three accessory stamps so plenty of choice for you.

Ooohh, it's getting close and we are getting more and more excited; are you? :-)

Accessories!

Hi folks, Louise here,

I'm back today with another card for you, it's using one of the stamps you've seen before but don't worry there are more to show! I wanted to use this Annie stamp because she looks so lovely sitting on our treasure chest! Yes treasure chest! As well as our adorable Annie images there are things for her to sit on, well we can't have our little angel being uncomfortable can we?

Take a look...

When I drew this image I just knew she would work well with a nautical theme so I was keen to try it out. I was so please with how well her stripy socks went with the light houses.

The words Little treasure were made with rub on lettering, have you found that rub on lettering is difficult to fit correctly into the space you have? I bet you've all used it and found yourself running out of space as you reach the end of your paper, it's annoying isn't it? Well here's a tip for you. Where possible always apply your lettering before you cut into the card/paper THEN do your cutting! It sounds really obvious doesn't it but so often the obvious things come as an after thought when it's already too late.

I'd forgotten I had these little charms but they work perfectly on the lock don't they! I probably got them from Charmed Cards and Crafts because that's where I get most of my stash but I can't be sure... Karen??? The paper is; English Paper Company - Nautical.

Thank you for looking,

Louise xxxx

Clarification

Can I just clarify, as there seem to be some confusion, that all the images you see on the Delectable blog (this one) are for "real" stamps ONLY and will never be available as digital downloads. All our digi stamps are featured on our sister blog, Dottie's World.

The stamps will not be available for a few weeks yet but a pre-order system will be set up very soon. We will of course announce that here.

Have a great Easter xx

The Cats Whiskers!

Hi Everybody, Louise here.

This is my first ever post on the new Delectable blog and I can tell you, I only just made it here!Oh my oh my what a busy bee I've been! I've hardly had chance to scratch the proverbial, I've been that busy with this range of stamps. My DH wants us to go out for a family day tomorrow so I'm trying to squeeze two days into one today AND 3 baskets of ironing!!! EEK!

So on with what's important, a beautiful new image that you guys haven't seen yet! This one took the most work out of all of them, she's had more poses than...than....something that does lots of poses but she's my fave.

So without further ado please welcome Annie with her kitty..... Ain't she a cutie!

You know I've been overwhelmed by the amount of interest we've had for these stamps, after just selling downloads for so long it's going to be strange to see things literally flying off the shelves, and these babies have wings!

The papers and the sentiment I've used are left over from the amazing array of Amy Butler products that Karen sent me recently to make some projects with, if you'd like to see more please pop over to the designers pages Charmed Cards and Crafts.

So that's it from me because I have to rush off, I hope you all have a fabulous Easter weekend, don't eat TOO much choccie will you!

Annie...

... Our first little girl is going to be named Annie. I think you'll agree that she looks just like a little Annie :-) I had to have a little play too, and here is a second stamp featuring our little lady.

By now you will probably have gathered that she features in both our banner and blinkies :-)

I'll leave you with her but check back soon for more.....

Introducing....

...the very first Charmed Stamp character. This little darling will remain nameless for just a wee bit longer, but watch this space.

Louise Brigden created this lovely card featuring our new little sweetie, isn't she just guaranteed to melt even the stoniest of hearts?

The initial set will comprise six main stamps with three accessory stamps.
